This artwork is about the beginning of my relationship with my wonderful boyfriend. I wasn't sure if we were meant to be a couple--which is signified by the empty chairs with the lamp shinning a spotlight on them. And I had all these words and doubts about that possibility. But, beyond the words, there are the fireworks pink and yellow with the endearment "Eres Guapa" ("You are beautiful") at the top and the embracing couple hidden in the shadows on the right. They knew better than I did.
